What it is?
Brewing temperature is a key factor that controls how flavors are extracted from coffee. Different roast levels require different temperatures because each type of bean reacts differently to heat.
Light roast beans are dense and need higher temperatures to extract their complex flavors. Medium roasts require a balanced approach, while dark roasts are more fragile and extract quickly, so lower temperatures help prevent bitterness.
Adjusting temperature based on roast level ensures a smoother, more balanced cup of coffee.
